One of the big announcements from last week's MacWorld keynote was the upgrade to the iPod Touch. This upgrade included Mail, Google Maps, Weather Stocks and Notes, all for $20, which was odd given that new iPod Touches would be already including the software with no additional cost, but early adopters had to pay. It seems Apple users are used to getting worked when it comes to paying. Then there is no surprise that Sababa was quick to release the iNo, a $60 toy that essentially had owners re-buying a feature already included in most iPods, the Name that Tune game.
Okay, I'll go easy on the iNo. It does add more functionality to Apple's Name that Tune game by way of a nice speaker and wireless remotes for buzzing in. The fact that it requires batteries is kind of a downer, but it does support a wide variety of iPods including the Touch and the Nano. It's available for $50.
