RFID clothing tag concept talks to your washer, so you don't have to

cloth_tag.jpg

Tired of the painstaking process of reading a tag when washing clothes for the first time? Yeah, it can be a drag reading a one-inch square tag to ensure the clothes aren't ruined, but a new concept will relieve the pressures of having to read, and put all of the work onto the washer and dryer.

clothTAG, a system designed by Samgmin Bae, uses RFID technology to give clothes the ability to communicate with RFID-enabled washers, dryers and other clothing equipment. Simply load the clothes into the washer and the tag will do the rest of the work by telling the washer how it should be laundered.
