Modeled after a baby harp seal (yes, the ones you always see being clubbed to death in those horrible videos) the Paro Mental Commit Robot is the latest in new category of human therapy robots. Paro first came on the scene a few years ago, but was recently honored as the World's Most Therapeutic Robot by the Guinness Book of World Records.

According to the creators of Parco, the too-cute robot can express surprise and happiness by blinking its eyes and moving its head and body. And yes, Paro actually gets angry if you get the urge to re-enact one of those unpleasant seal clubbing episodes.
