At what point is going green a bit too far? Maybe when you are swapping out your traditional and efficient lamps in favor of something a little more ridiculous like this tiny lamp. I start to wonder how much longer until the world switches back to candle power. It should be pretty soon at this rate.

The appropriately named Little Lamp is the work of Sam Hurt and Jude Biddulph. It is simply an LED light, shade and draw string that can attach to the top of any D-cell battery. Sure, it may emit a fraction of the light that your regular lamp emits, but it has to be better for the environment in one way or another. It is currently on sale for $20.
