While it's safe to say you'll never do any Superman-style flying under your own power, the dream of being able to fly isn't really that unrealistic these days. I mean, heck, you can already buy a sweet commercial jetpack if you've got the scratch. But what if you want to fly less vertically and more horizontally?

I present to you the Jet Wing, a personal flying apparatus that's sure to fulfill your dreams of flight, at least in those few moments before you plaster yourself into the side of a building. The only problem is that it doesn't have the power to launch you from the ground; you need to jump out of an airplane with it attached and then land with a parachute. But when you're up there, you can fly horizontally at 115MPH for a few minutes, which is a hell of a lot better than you can do on your own.
