Is your yard ready for LawnBott: The Next Generation?

LawnBott-LB3500.jpg

LawnBott has been upgraded. When we covered the previous incarnation of the lawnmower robot, we weren’t sure the concept would fly — but we were wrong and congratulations are in order. KA Home Robotics announced a new model, the LawnBott LB3200, which adds Bluetooth tech to its mowing arsenal, letting you program and control it from any Bluetooth-enabled cellphone or laptop.

For the initial setup, you use the included perimeter wire to set the boundary around the lawn edge, flowerbeds and bushes. Utilizing two lithium-ion batteries for power, the LB3500 leaves the docking station at its preprogrammed time to start the mow. It will work on slopes up to 30 degrees and cut an area as big as 38,000 square feet and then it return to its dock automatically. For safety there's a free-floating 360-degree bumper, a blade-stop sensor, and an onboard alarm system if an unauthorized user picks up the Lawnbott. Lawnbott 2.0 is available now for $3,250.

cool.

growing up, I remember mowing ALL THE TIME, I hated it, cause we lived in the country (which I liked), but I was the one who had to mow all 3 acres. Which was NOT fun.

In a couple years I hop to buy a house, I will likely be looking at these...cause the days of me mowing....are done.

I'm impressed to see there is a lawnbott 2.0 now but I'm keeping my evolution. It works just fine for us. We ordered the lawnbott evolution LB3200 last year from http://lawnbotts.com - absolutely love it! Since then we sold our lawn tractor, knocked down the old shed and never have worry about mowing the lawn again. This lawn mower is the new "microwave" of the decade - I swear! What sold me on trying one was a 30 day satisfaction guarantee at http://www.lawnbotts.com/trial.html - highly recommended!

We bought one of these and it was a nightmare and ended up replacing almost all of the electronics just to get it to work. When it does work it wore tracks around our entire lawn........YUK! I bought a Husqvarna Automower and it has been a dream instead of a nightmare.

Don't buy this because it looks nice, it's like having an old Ferrari, it looks good, but you need a full time mechanic to keep it running. Oh, it's made in Italy. I don't know of ANY high tech stuff coming from Italy! My bad for buying it in the first place knowing it was Italian.

The mower really works. Any mechanical device will need some sort of maintenance. Don't believe anything will be maintenance free.
I have used mine for 3 years and it is the answer!
Got it from http://www.lawnbott-central.com
