Inflatable bottle cooler sounds like a horrible idea, really

alexisgeorgacopoulos23.jpg

It may be right in the middle of the bitterly cold winter season, but that doesn't mean it's not too early to start thinking about the summer. And what comes with the summer? Parties that involve booze and large bodies of water! The bottle cooler is a product that is destined to cost a life at a spring break event or two. Luckily it's currently only a conceptual design by Alexis Georgacopoulos, but recreating an item like this doesn't seem to horribly farfetched. I guess it's no different than giving a cooler its own inner tube on river floating excursions.

I am the first to support the idea of drinking innovations, but the mother in me just sees idea like this bottle cooler and other inventions as more harmful than good. If you require additional gadgets and accessories to get drunk, then you probably shouldn't be drinking in the first place. There, I said it. Now get your ass downstairs for dinner young man.

Who says that booze is the only thing that folks drink while cooling off in the lake or river? There have been times that this would have helped keep the large soda bottle cool, as they usually don't fit well in coolers. How many times have you poured warm, sticky, carbonated liquid over ice and had the fizz spill all over your shoes or on the floor of your boat?
