Okay, I'll let it out of the bag real quick. The Illumino is a Lite Brite put into the body of an older-bodied iMac. Naturally I would be quick to judge a product like this for so blatantly ripping off two other products, but I can't. I can't because the Lite Brite is one of my favorite childhood toys and the iMac is a superb big kid toy.

The Illumino has its perks over the original Lite Brite. Namely being a timer, so this toy can also be used as a night light for the little kiddo. It also includes storage compartments for the illuminating pegs. I can't remember how many vacuum cleaners I ruined by leaving those tiny Lite Brite pegs in the carpet. Sorry Mom!

The Illumino is available for $50, which may seem like a bit much given that the regular Lite Brite sells for around that much, but you may be forgetting that you are getting an iMac knock-off out of the purchase as well.
