

In terms of building designs that are actually going to, you know, be built, I don't think they get much cooler than the new Hamburg Science Center and Aquarium. Yes, this thing is going to really become a reality.
A giant ring comprised of 10 interconnected blocks, it's a unique design to be sure. Inside will be 23,000 meters of space that'll be used for "a science centre, aquarium, theatre, offices, laboratories as well as commercial and retail facilities." It's great to see such out-of-the-box architectural thinking being taken up in major cities, as it really adds a unique flair to the surround area.
