Eco-cook minimizes dish washing, saves earth

ecocook1.jpg

Sure, the idea for the Eco-cook may be based around energy consumption. By using one pot and convenient dividers, less energy is requires to cook food and less water is needed as well, which in turn saves the earth from annihilation (or so they say). What I like most about the Eco-cook design is saving me the pain of washing dishing. Seriously, why wash three pans when you can wash one?

The Eco-cook concept is a silicone and nylon heat resistant basket that fits inside of large pots. This allows for other types of food to easily be boiled and maximize the water and heat being used. It isn't slated for a release until 2015, because according to the designer 2015 is when the "environment problems from energy will become more and more serious." If you want to wait eight years for a fairly simple and convenient design like the Eco-cook, then so be it. By then we will be boiling vegetables and noodles with our brain anyway.
