Dawn alarm clock gradually awakens you using LEDs

There's nothing worse than being honked out of bed early in the morning by an obnoxious alarm clock. The Dawn Alarm solves that problem with an array of exceedingly bright LEDs on top that start out as soft as dawn's early light and ramp up into nearly enough candlepower to light up an operating room.
That's not going to be enough to wake you up? If you sleep through the light show, there's always a ringing alarm you can set to sound after the lights reach their full brightness. While this $85 clock appears to be a stress-free wake-up alternative, a cheaper ($40) vibrating pillow alarm might be even better.

I seriously doubt something like this could wake me... I'm actually baffled that light wakes people up. I could probably sleep through a nuclear explosion.
