If sleek geek chic isn’t your thing, and your home décor is more Martha Stewart than high tech, the Pico Bayard PC might be more your speed. That’s good a thing… we think. Designed and built by Jeffrey Stephenson, who has created a variety of art-inspired PCs that range form art deco to steam punk, this year’s CES showpiece was the Pico Bayard. The computer, which is built in a flame-mahogany case with chrome accents, was inspired by a design by famous French clockmaker Bayard. Rather than gears, it features a VIA PX1000 Pico-ITX mainboard, 1GHz VIA C7 CPU, EarthLCD touchscreen and integrated Wi-Fi.
