It's so boring to play chess on a computer. What ever happened to knocking your opponents pieces over in person? Excalibur Electronics has devised a solution: a physical chess board that can move pieces itself. You can play against it, or it can play games with itself as a chess teaching tool. Or if you're a chess fanatic you can have it on in the background as it replays famous games from chess history. After the game is over, the Phantom Force moves all the pieces back into place again.
Excalibur Electronics actually owns the World and U.S. Chess Hall of Fame, so we're hoping that it’s loaded into the machine's computer. The system costs $245. Watch closely in the video above to watch the black side castle, and the white "team's" response.

wOW. THATS COOL. even lets you do the knight and rook special move as shown in the video. only thing is its kind of hard to tell what pieces are what from the video.
