Clarion showed their newest mobile navigation unit, the MiND — Mobile Internet Navigation Device. A beautiful MiND, indeed, it'll be available in September for around $800. With onboard Internet connectivity, the MiND has a 1GHz CPU that makes it much more than just a fancy nav system: Wi-Fi or high-speed wireless will get you real-time traffic information, and you can access the Web for weather information, or just to see what’s new on YouTube.
With a docking system to connect to Clarion’s head units, you can play the music stored on the MiND, or use the Bluetooth connection for hands-free phone conversations. What separates this unit from other portable connections is the high-resolution display, with up to four times the clarity of other units.
