The fact of the matter is that when it comes to flat-panel TV sets, form outsells performance. To that end, JVC announced the World’s thinnest tuner-equipped LCD TVs. This is not to say that JVC's new line of slim LCD TVs can’t perform, I just want to point out the pressure these manufactures are under. The new LT series have a maximum depth of 2.9 inches at its center but for the most part the TVs are a mere 1.5 inches deep. The new super-slim design will come in 42-inch and 46-inch screen sized and will offer 1080p resolution. They're expected to be available by early summer.
