Today Logitech added a new member to its roster of universal remote controls that actually work: The Harmony One. Just like its predecessors, the One has those trademark useful features like an Intuitive Web-based setup, a Help button, and general hotness, but there are some upgrades, too. Holding the One in my hand, I was most impressed with the new button setup: The play/pause and rewind/fast-forward buttons are placed better than any other remote I've seen. There less-used buttons (like ?) are up top, close to the bright LCD screen (a touchscreen, thanks), making this remote even sleeker than Harmonys of the past. Look for it late this month for $249.
