Samsung’s new home-theater-in-a-box systems might be the best thing since pizza in-a-cup.
The new HT-X715 is a 5.1 channel system with integrated Bluetooth 2.1 so you can stream music from MP3 players and cellphones, and a built-in USB port so you can play DivX, MP3, WMA and JPEG files without a PC. The 1080p upconversion will boost the picture quality of your standard DVDs, and it may even help the cause of those DivX files you grabbed from BitTorrent.
The HT-X715 will be available in May 2008, at $599.
