Finally, there are complete true audiophile iPhone earbuds. By complete, I mean earbuds with an inline mic and switch hook control so you can answer a call while listening to tunes without fumbling for the iPhone, and true audiophile because I'm talking about the Super.fi 4vi from Ultimate Ears, the guys who make custom earphones for musicians.

The 4vi buds are made from light-weight aluminum and the newly-designed sound isolating tips are smaller and tapered for a tighter and more comfortable fit. And if they're as good as other Ultimate Ear buds – and there's no reason to think they wouldn't – you'll be able to hear just how crappy 128 kbps MP3s really sound. But for lesser compressed or lossless tracks, the 4vi's are likely worth every penny of their $150 price tag.
