Meet the i.Dream, a funny looking iPod dock whose lights even a company spokesman couldn't quite explain. The sound is pretty typical for its $130 price tag, so you should only pick it up if this design speaks to you in some way.
The iDream works with iPhone, but apparently can't play iPhone music as loudly as it can play music from a regular iPod. Is this a common problem with iPhones on iPod docks, even ones that are iPhone compatible? Let us know how your iPhone docking experiences have been.

I have noticed that when I plug my iPhone into my car stereo (Kenwood head unit, and Kenwood iPod connector - KCA-iP500) that the volume of the audio coming from the ipod is significantly quieter than the audio coming from my 3G iPod. I have also noticed a similar problem when I use my iPhone on my friend's AltecLansing inMotion imMini speakers. I connect my iPhone to each of these decvices using the iPhone Dock Connector, not the headphone jack.
