CES $$$: Beltronics Shifter ZR4 jams it!

SHifterLS.jpg
If you’ve invested in a radar detector for your car, you’re probably painfully aware of how quickly the police invent new technology that you can’t protect against. Case in point is the newest generation of laser speed detection systems. The Beltronics Shifter ZR4 ($500) is an add-on device for your pre-existing detector. While Beltronics calls it “Laser Shifting”, we’ll just call it a jammer. It comes with a twin front mounted laser transceiver along with a license plate mounted transceiver for the rear of your vehicle. Although it’s a plug-in go type of device, professional installation is still recommended. More than just a detector, it actually blocks the laser signal, for both K and Ka-band. What do you think: is it worth the price to avoid a ticket?

I hope thats a typo and you're not just writting about something you would seem to know zero about.

"it actually blocks the laser signal, for both K and Ka-band"

K band and Ka band are not laser signals, those are radar signals, entirely different concept.
