Allsop heated mouse pad keeps those lonely digits nice and toasty

heattherapymousepad.jpg

Leave it to Allsop, mousepad manufacturer extraordinaire to not give up on the mousepad business yet, even though it the true purpose of the mousepad went out back in the 1990s when ball mice were retired.

Allsop's latest mousepad innovation is a heat-therapy mousepad. No, no, no, this device doesn't require any USB power to do the heating. Rather, inside of the wrist rest is a gel insert. Microwave or freeze the gel insert to do the heating or cooling for those aching wrists. Yeah, it may not seem too special, but in the crawling world of mousepads, any innovation is a big innovation.

Allsop also makes a heat therapy keyboard wrist rest that uses similar technology. Each mousepad or wrist rest includes two heat therapy inserts and sells from Allsop directly for $20.
