Wooden headphones sound better than plastic, I guess
HP_FX500_1-tm.jpgJVC has just announced a pair of earbuds that aren't made from the plastics that you're used to with most headphones of that nature. No, they're made of wood, just like the classy speakers you have setup in your living room.

According to JVC, this results in a "warmer, richer" sound. Well, maybe. I would worry that they'd be uncomfortable being wood, but I suppose plastic isn't that soft either, and as these come with a number of different cones to fit into your ears, they should feel good enough. And despite the "luxury" that usually comes attached to anything with fancy wood finishes, these guys will only set you back $130 when they're released in February, which is expensive but not insanely so.
