Modding old video game consoles into small, handheld cases is all the rage these days. So is wrapping otherwise normal devices in pretty, pretty wood. So it's really no surprise at all that we're a little bit taken with this custom Super Nintendo modification that turned the old console into a wooden handheld gaming system.

While it's not exactly pocket-sized, the modified console is all-in-one, featuring a screen and a sound system that would make for some fun backseat entertainment on long car trips. If you have a stack of old SNES cartridges kicking around that need some love, there are worse ways to play them. Not that you have a chance to play this one, as it's a one time deal. But hey, it's nice to look at.
