Transcend StoreJet OTG helps you keep track of data, computer-free

Transced-external-HDD-OLED.jpg

The Transcend StoreJet OTG has a two-color OLED display that will let you manage what you've got on it, as well as interface with computer peripherals — minus the computer. Want to transfer data to and from a flash drive, digital camera or MP3 player without booting up your machine? Just plug it into the StoreJet and make it happen. It's a pretty handy idea, and one we may see more of. Many printers now, for example, allow you to print pictures by plugging your camera directly into one, rather than having to go through a PC.

The Transcend StoreJet OTG is a little on the small side in more ways than one. While it only holds 30 GB, it's also just 1.8 inches thick. You can pick one up for $200.
