Toshiba has a new smartphone coming soon dubbed the Portege. Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, it's loaded with options that should make power users happy.

Features are set to include "GSM 900/1800/1900, WCDMA, Bluetooth, WLAN , USB 2.0 connectivity, main camera (at least 2 mpx) with flash, front camera for video calls, 3-inch display, 1320 mAh Li-ion battery, and microSD memory card slot," which is an impressive lineup. There'll also be a beefier model that'll come out later in 2008, although the details are pretty sparse on that one. In any case, it's always nice to see some more competition in the smartphone world, and it'll be nice to have more options when these drop in 2008.
