Tokyo Coin Locker Art exhibit brings the gallery to you

The Tokyo landscape offers unique opportunities to create art and the latest is the coin locker exhibit at Shimbashi station in Tokyo, Japan. Each locker is programmed with a number that will allow anyone with the digits to open a locker via cell phone. Art patrons are asked to simply view the contents and not damage or remove the contents. The art represents 16 creators from around the world including New York artist Stephan Apicella-Hitchcock and South Korean T-Yong Chung. Produced by Eric Van Hove as part of his "Off the record" series, you can find out more here.
