Japanese photographers are known for their attention to detail and sense of community--go to Tokyo's Yoyogi Park on any particularly sunny day and you'll see teams of photographer hobbyists lugging around huge bags of expensive camera equipment. That same spirit of communal photography passion comes alive in Jun Tsuzuki's Synchronicity project. Tsuzuki facilitates the organization of regularly scheduled worldwide photo shoots with various photographers participating remotely.
The only rule is that everyone must submit a photo taken at exactly the same moment in time. The result is often a cinematic peek into humanity evocative of the transnational timecode style in the film "Babel." The next scheduled shoot is set to occur on January 1st 00:00:00 GMT. Find out more here.
