Hey SanDisk, I have some beef with you! This SanDisk Photo Album is only going to make my holiday experience that much more painful. Let me set the scene — it's Christmas day, everyone is sitting around talking, that aunts are taking pictures of all of the kids and suddenly one remembers all of the great vacation pictures still saved on the memory card. It's too much of a pain for her to pass around the camera to view the pictures on the 1-inch screen, and I deny any ability to put the pictures on a computer, so that is that.
Now SanDisk wants to make it extremely easy to share all of those pictures with this glorified card reader. This card reader supports CompactFlash, SD, xD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, SmartMedia, MMC and USB. It has a TV-out ability meaning you can plug the card reader directly into a TV to show off those pictures that secretly no one wants to see. It includes a remote and will even support MPEG videos. The $50 price tag may be just enough to push my frugal relatives away, or at least I can hope.
