Polycarbonate thermoelectric dishware keeps the food warm, baddies at bay
I know this isn't good for the hypochondriacs out there, but it only takes a warm dish a hour sitting on a dining table to reach room temperature and begin spawning bacteria all over the place. Those were the thoughts behind Fete, a conceptual design by Rosalin Chanyasak. Fete is polycarbonate thermoelectric plates and bowl capable of keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Included on the dishware are buttons to indicate what types of foods are being served in said plates and bowls for accurate temperatures. Of course, hot plates and ice is always a solid solution to this problem, but then you would never be able to tell your guests that they are eating out of polycarbonate thermoelectric dishware, and that is just too cool to pass up.
