The Peak Bath helps you conserve water in the most simple way: by using less of it. It's still a full tub, but has a section in the middle cut out of the bottom that is supposed to allow your legs to rest comfortably as they normally would. So the total volume of water in the fully filled tub is significantly less and, at the same time, you got a place to rest your legs.
This is a great idea for bath time loungers, but I wonder how well it would translate if you wanted to use the tub for something else, like washing an animal or nursing plants or.
The Peak Bath is the work of designer Lyndon Craig and is a Professional Finalist entry in the 2007 reecedesign Bathroom Innovation Awards.
