Projectors and stereos with integrated iPod docks are understandable and even acceptable, but a digital photo frame with an iPod dock may be pushing it a little too far, just like that iPod docking stethoscope. Mustek's i700 digital photo frame, set to be unveiled at CES 2008, does include a iPod dock. In this case, the digital photo frame becomes somewhat of an extension of the iPod. The frame is capable of playing back the obvious iPod-saved pictures, but also music and even movies. Similar to most other iPod docks, this is a one-stop solution to unnecessary cables required.
In addition to the friendly, iPod-docking capabilities, this frame from Mustek has the usual array of memory card readers that accepts a wide variety of formats. It can play back MPEG or XviD, for those looking to enjoy a movie or two on a 7-inch photo frame. It will be hitting the market in March, just in time for Apple to release a new iPod or iPhone that it won't be compatible with.
