In today's installment of "ridiculously expensive and over-the-top speakers that only the idiotic and rich would ever buy," we have the Genesis 2-Series Loudspeaker system. These hulking monstrosities claim to be well worth their $63,000 pricetag, which is something that I think would be impossible for a set of speakers to do, but let's see what their argument is. Standing at an imposing 6.5-feet tall, here's what they supposedly have going for them:

Improved Servo-Bass cable and 8-inch woofers with higher displacement and lower distortion. New Class D modules with zero propagation delay and higher current capability have been use din the making. Delicate changes in bracing reduced modal vibrations and boxy coloration in the woofer tower cabinet to almost zero, thereby making for faster, more dynamic, and better-defined bass.
