Nintendo offering IOUs on Wiis
Have you been desperately searching for a Nintendo Wii this holiday season but refuse to be degraded by being forced to wait outside in the cold for a few hours early some morning in order to snag one? Nintendo feels your pain. That's why its going to start offering IOUs at Gamestop.
So if you want a Wii, you can now simply go to your local Gamestop, drop down your $250, and sometime before the end of January, you'll get one. No waiting in the cold, no paying some profiteering scumbag on eBay, and no more tears. It seems like a pretty good idea to us, as we never endorse potentially freezing to death for the sake of a gadget. We like gadgets and all, but have some self-respect for goodness sake.
