While cruising the Blip Festival we ran into MAKE Senior Editor Phillip Torrone, who just got back from Tokyo with a Sony Rolly. The Rolly is an egg-shaped MP3 player that can dance to its own music. The Rolly isn't officially available in the U.S. and probably never will be, so we couldn't pass up an opportunity to see it in action. Phil kindly obliged us by taking Vanessa on a tour of his shiny new toy. Practical? Not really. Fun? Absolutely! Thanks Phil! We owe you one.

That looks like fun. I wonder how decent the sound quality is or how much storage space it comes with? It is for sure something to get that gadget freak.

That is without a doubt the stupidest mp3 player in existence. I'm not even being mean. That thing is just plain dumb. It's cool you guys got your hands on it, but honestly - it's clear why they won't bring it to the states. No one would purchase it.

So basically someone using a mac to do something a PC can do easuly.... to finally do something with a device that serves no function.
