Drink up! Korean cellphone accessory tests liver on the fly
liver_mobile_phone.jpg

Sure, you could always pick up a portable breathalyzer to have competitions with your friends and to determine when to give up the keys, but a silly breathalyzer couldn't give a flying hoot about your liver. Researchers at the Korean Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology have developed a cellphone accessory capable of testing the liver health on the go.

It works by analyzing two enzymes found in the blood. It will then send the data to a hospital and if you've had one too many 151 shots, the doctor will give you a call and suggest holding back on number 14. The Korean company has already began filing patents for the technology, but like most amazing Korean technology, its chances of making it stateside are slim. I would think the most damage to my liver has already been done, anyway.
