Docomo Sound Leaf phone shades your ears from city noise pollution
NTT Docomo decided to end the year off with one last tech flourish in form of the Sound Leaf Plus Bluetooth cell phone. Looking like a cross between a robot finger and an electric shaver, the most unique feature of the Sound Leaf is that it uses bone conduction to transmit sound to the user.
The bone conduction technology is designed to defeat the ambient noise of urban environments without blowing your eardrums out. Running on just two AAA batteries the Sound Leaf will be available in Japan in February of next year for just 13,000 yen ($116).

i am interested to purchase a sound leaf plus cell phone. my mother is 85 years old and i have hard time to communicate with her on the phone.
