I love concept designs that clearly have horrible functionality in order to maintain some unique design or concept. I mean, I guess love isn't the right word. Because they will never, ever get made, so perhaps I just feel bad for them.

Like these Apple Remotes, for example. They're remote controls and they look like apples! Adorable! You can turn the volume up and down by moving the apple back and forth, and other basic functionality is done with motion-sensing technology. But what if you want to say, change the source on your TV? Or adjust the format from full letterbox to stretch? Oh, well, uh, this remote doesn't have enough buttons for things like that. But apples! Can't you see they look like apples?!
