$40,000 center channel speaker is made of glass, gold, and wishes

Nothing says luxury like gold and glass. Or, rather, nothing makes something look luxurious like a healthy sampling of those two materials. I assume that's where Perfect8 gets off charging $40,000 for a single center-channel speaker made of mostly glass and gold.
The Force center speaker was designed to compliment Focus8's equally ludicrous Force loudspeakers (which cost $277,000) and is adjustable depending on where you want the speaker to aim. Inside, you'll find two modified 7-inch MG-cone drivers, a pair of modified 5.25-inch MG-cone drivers and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter with a meticulous wave guide. So shiny! So worth it!
