The Time Machine Clock won't send you back in time, but it will show you a different way to look at it. Using a few dozen ball bearings, the Time Machine tells time by filling each of its scoops — ticking off minutes in single nicks, then fives, and finally the hour — and having the overflow drop off to the next level. Just count them up and you've got yourself the time of day. Seconds are displayed on a circular wheel above the rungs.
The Time Machine is certainly one of the more interesting approaches to clocks we've seen in a while. It costs around $80 for the unit and all the chrome balls.
