The ultimate luxury — relaxing in the tub while watching television

splashtvgraphic.jpg

Wouldn't it be great to wheel the home entertainment system into your bathroom while you soak in the spa? Unfortunately water and electricity don't mix well, and getting fried in your tub while watching Grey's Anatomy would make for an awkward conversation at the funeral. For this reason, Video Tree has released a super thin 17.1-inch waterproof LCD screen for couch tub potatoes.

The Splash TV is sealed and completely waterproof for those that like to make a splash, and the screen is heated to prevent condensation buildup. The unit even comes with a water-resistant remote control so you can sit back and relax without worrying about shorting out the remote. There's also an iPod dock so you can watch your iTunes videos or listen to music without the need to run extra wires around the loo. The company claims Splash TV is easy to install and meets all safety standards, it's just too bad the set isn't HD and costs $3,264.
