After releasing the new slimmed down PSP the reaction was less than overwhelming, so Sony has decided to release a new series of PSP in color. The newest PSP has been dubbed PSP Deep Red. Other than a new color the new PlayStation Portable offers little besides its normal gaming experience.

For Westerners this update might seem exciting but in Japan you're already likely to see a pink, white, blue or even polka dot PSP on the train via mods offered on the street. Still, if owning a PSP with a little color is what you've been waiting for you'll have your chance to pick one up in mid-December. — Adario Strange
