Ohms Law Clock makes telling time a tedious, nerdy affair
If, when you look at a clock, rather than see what time it is immediately you'd rather be faced with a math problem, the Ohms Law Clock is designed especially for you. Yes, rather than seeing a bunch of easy-to-read numbers, you'll be faced with all the formulas that relate power, current, voltage and resistance, which would never get old, I'm sure.
You could get this for your kid if you really, really want them to learn these formulas, but unless your kid is really stupid they'll be able to figure out what time it is just based on where the hands are without doing any math, I'm sorry to say. So I guess you'll need to find some other sneaky, stupid way of getting them to learn.

I know you don't say this specifically, but this write-up reads like you don't understand how this clock works. It simply has the formulas on the face. You don't solve these formulas to find out the numerical value of the hour or minute. "but unless your kid is really stupid they'll be able to figure out what time it is just based on where the hands are without doing any math" - yes, that's the only way to read the clock. It's no crazier than those single-diamond watches that only show where 12 is.
