Matias iRizer gives laptops a lift, folds flat

Matias-iRizer-notebook-stand.jpg

The Matias iRizer lifts your laptop up at four comfortable angles by sliding a stand into the cutouts on the base labeled 20°, 30°, 40° and 50°. Nothing fancy about this one, but your keyboard will be at a more ergonomic slant, and the screen will be higher so you'd be looking straight on — which helps discourage slouching. The iRizer doesn't employ any fans to keep your machine any cooler, instead letting increased ventilation and the air around it do the work. One thing it has going for it: it's nice to see that it folds completely flat for easy storage.

The laptop stand sells for $40, which is a little much considering the iRizer really doesn't have any special tricks or frills about it. Matias is throwing in a MiniRizer, pictured in the gallery below propping up an iPod, if you're into that kind of thing.
