The Glowing Globe will please the geographically curious and stargazers alike. During the day, the globe is a 1:60,000,000 scale map of the world, complete with national boundaries, capitals, cities, and natural features. At night, a light sensor inside the globe illuminates the ball from within, transforming it from a map of the land to a map of the sky. 88 constellations are all replete with their common names, and the soft blue lighting could even find the educational Glowing Globe doubling as a nightlight.
