Eye Power device boasts point-and-shoot eyesight boost for the brave

eyepower.jpg

We don't advise attempting to heal your eyesight at home, but if you're the mad scientist type willing to try, the Eye Power might be the product for you. Using ultrasonic technology, the Eye Power is meant to help those looking to correct near-sighted/myopic vision problems.

Brave souls need only to place the contraption in front of one eye and wait about 10 minutes as the ultrasonic waves supposedly caress your eyes back to perfect 20/20 health. If you think you've already seen it all and prefer to live on the edge, the Eye Power can be yours for just 88,000 yen ($800) here.

As an ophthalmic surgeon I am MOST interested in this device and wonder if, in treating a patient, one treatment would siffice, or are follow-up secondary treatments required?? I'd like MUCH more information, please. Thanks DJS

I really doubt this works. So basically, if I assumed that this did work, then it would be altering the shape of your lenses and making it more pliable in order to focus the light better. This doesn't seem to account of a lot of things such as spherical imperfections and such.

I'm nearsighted and understand this runs an average of $1,500.00 an eye so come on with the assurances, the proof.
