The long-lasting and outdated age of neon beer signs have officially come to an end as a more affordable solution has hit the table. Thinkgeek's DIY Neon Sign Kit allow for even the shiest of bachelors to retrofit their pad with some neon signage that always impresses the masses.
This sign works with a few different elements. First is the power supply kit, which sells for $30 and provides the canvas for the neon-y and witty word art that you are envisioning. The next part of this package involves purchasing the individual letters to create the phrase. Each letter, number or symbol has a $7 price tag with the Q, X and Z currently out of stock, because unlike in Scrabble, those letters are not loved with neon signs. The letter clip together, so the length of the phrase is endless.
What really rubs me the wrong way is the fact that you have to buy spaces as well for $4 each. Having to pay for something that doesn't traditionally exist, or normally is given out free just isn't right.
