Until now America has relied on three forms of food from a spray can: easy cheese (gross), whipped cream (delicious), and Pam (no flavor). We're not sure how history will judge the country's latest spray food product: Pancake batter in a can from Batter Blaster.
Batter Blaster is different from previous spray-food incarnations because it combines a whole recipe's worth of ingredients— including whole wheat flour— into a bakeable (in the case of waffles) mixture. Just spray your pan or waffle iron with Pam, squirt out some batter, and five minute's later you'll have a "homemade" breakfast.
All the ingredients in Batter Blaster are organic, though we're pretty sure that disposable (if recyclable) cans are far more wasteful than making batter from Bisquick. Batter Blaster is available right now on the West Coast and in parts of the Midwest. Californians: let us know how it tastes. The company expects to have national distribution by summer '08.

I really enjoy the Bladder Blaster product. It gives me the flexibility to make faces for my grandchildren. The kids are able to make their own pancakes without making a big mess. I am creating new recipes where I made it on the top of a shephards pie, yummy. I love that the product is organic and low fat. Great taste. You MUST make sure and shake the product or the flavors aren't mixed properly. No oil is needed for cooking maybe a bit of cooking spray and be careful of burning the pancakes as they cook quickly. The stores here are sold out.

OMG this stuff is a joke DO NOT waste your money. Buy the box not the can next time you want pancakes…. rubbery and flat… Organic but that’s about all it has going for it. Oh and did I mention EXPENSIVE! Nearly 5 bucks a can.

I love this stuff and if you get a chance buy a can. love it love it love it... and I was able to make star shape baby cakes..
