Designer Jaehyung Hong reckons his headphone system will eliminate all of your wire-tangling woes. The headphone wires, spaced from the get-go, feed out of a small plastic lanyard that has all of your controls built-in. A cutout at the lanyard's midsection is a cubby to store the earpieces and the whole thing fits conveniently in your pocket when not in use.
At the moment, the headphone lanyard is just a concept. That's probably good because there are still a few things to sort out. How does it connect to the player? Is it wireless? Is there a player inside the lanyard (rarely a good idea)? Until the answers come in, I guess we'll all be untying our wires the old fashioned way — with our fingers.
