It's obvious — day in and day out you dream of the day that you could finally be able to use the treadmill and work on those TPS reports at the same time. Even the Technogym can't do that, but the Walkstation sure can. The Walkstation is the ugly child of a traditional treadmill and a work station.
It is the design of furniture manufacturer, Steelcase, and Jame Levine, a Mayo Clinic employee who sees what kind of toll office jobs has on the gut. The one flaw this design seems to have is the inability to convert out of treadmill mode. I would also avoid picking this up if your job involved a lot of phone work — people may find it awkward when you are panting on the phone.
Coming to a cubicle near you? Likely not, but it is definitely a step in the right direction and a definite statement about office jobs and how dangerous they can actually be on a person's health.

I love this product but at $6500 it is too expensive. I found another product called TrekDesk at www.trekdesk.com that promises to do the same things for a lot less money.

Thanks for the link to www.trekdesk.com, I learned quite a bit about why I should be walking more and feeling less guilty about my weight. I think TrekDesk can make a difference for me.
