Verizon's new EVDO dongle can load up with 4GB of storage

verizonusb727.jpg

EVDO modems are a great way to stay connected to the web when you aren't near a WiFi hotspot, allowing you to access the Internet via high-speed cellular networks rather than cable or DSL. You simply need to get either a PCMCIA card or a USB dongle to connect, set up an account with a carrier, and you're all set.

This Verizon USB727 USB EVDO dongle does all that with a twist. It also happens to have an SD card slot, allowing for up to 4GB of storage on board. With USB ports quickly getting filled up on many computers with all sorts of various devices, it's always great to see a way to consolidate items that you'd bring with you. You can grab the dongle/modem for $150 with a new EVDO contract.
